Gan Jian, based in Beijing, develops an artistic practice centered on the multi-sensory construction of space. Through the manipulation of light, the reflective potential of materials, and the spatialization of directional sound, he transforms extreme industrial-geometric forms and technological configurations into mediums of perceptual ritual. His spatial installations evoke states of sensory threshold, expanding perceptual depth while establishing spiritual interfaces where the individual encounters systemic Others beyond the bounds of subjectivity.
